Oiling and Knocking in your Cricket bat is an essential part of its preparation. It ensures you get the best performance and life out of your new bat. Even if you have purchased a "pre knocked in" bat, further knocking is always required.
We apply 2 to 3 coats of raw linseed oil to the face, edges and back of the bat evenly, 2 to 3 teaspoons of oil is the correct amount.
We personalize your cricket bat with Laser Engraving. You can opt for Laser Engraving of your name, number or your own unique symbol at the back of the bat. The name will be written at the back of the bat on the best visible spot. (Personalized Bat once sold cannot be returned unless deemed faulty)
Oiling process takes around 2 days. Your bat will be oiled and left horizontally so the oil is properly soaked. Once the oil is properly soaked, your bat will be machine knocked with 8000 to 10000 machine knocks. The knocking process takes additional 1 day. Your bat will be ready to be shipped in 3-4 business days after knocking and oiling.
Yes, oiling your cricket bat will increase bat weight to around 15-20 grams
Bat toes usually come in three traditional shapes i.e Square Toe, Round Toe, Semi Square Toe. You can ask for specific toe shape while placing order in the comments section at checkout.
